A simple method for synthesis of polymers containing shape persistent imine macrocycles as nanohoops in the main chain is studied. It is based on the cyclocondensation reaction carried out in solution and room temperature of triphenylamine-based tetraaldehyde compounds with (R,R)-trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane. The pristine polymer P1 bearing long alkyl groups is soluble during the synthesis but becomes insoluble after precipitation due to the strong and multiple C H/π and π-π stacking intermolecular interactions from arene–arene species and entanglement and interpenetrating of flexible alkyl groups inside of rigid macrocycle hollow. Polymer without any solubilizing groups ( P2 ) separates during the polymerization as an insoluble material. Both polymers are amorphous and have good thermal and environmental stability. They have a low surface area because discrete nanovoids introduced by macrocycles are disconnected in the amorphous polymers and non-accessible for gas adsorption. Polymers have inherent luminescent properties due to triphenylamine groups and chirality derived from (R,R)-conformation of the cyclohexane skeleton. In presence of picric acid (PA), the polymer fluorescence in solid state or suspension is strongly quenched, thus the polymers can work as efficient fluorescent probes toward nitrophenolic compounds. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 1,6-Diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene is one of the most used fluorescent labels in cell membrane fluidity studies. However, its solubility in aqueous biological media is low and an initial solubilizing step is necessary. In this study, the authors present spectroscopic and computational results in order to explain the striking displacement observed in electronic spectra (absorption and fluorescence) in different solvents. The experimental results were correlated with those obtained by molecular dynamics simulations of multicomponent solutions, which revealed non-homogenous microscopic regions formation in the ternary aqueous DPH solutions.  相似文献

Considering that the determination of authenticity and of the geographical origin of food is a very challenging issue, in this study we studied by means of histological and histochemical analyses the famous Sicilian lemon known as ‘Interdonato Lemon of Messina PGI’. Since the protected geographical indication Interdonato lemon of Messina possesses high organoleptic properties, the composition of the hexane extract of lemon peel was determined by HRGC and HRGC–MS analyses and compared with that of lemon of different cultivars. The results obtained are informative of the oil’s quality and explain the variation of the lemon essential oil composition. Given the fundamental economic implications of any fraud, the aim of this study was to determine a fingerprint able to evaluate the authentication of the geographic origin in such way to prevent frauds in national and international markets.  相似文献

A bidentate/tridentate 5-bromosalycilaldehyde isonicotinoylhydrazone Schiff base was synthesized by condensing 5-bromosalycilaldehyde with isonicotinoylhydrazine. Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) complexes of this chelating ligand were synthesized using nitrates of these metals. The ligand and the complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, UV–Vis, IR and EPR spectroscopy, conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements, fluorescence, cyclic voltammetry and thermogravimetric analysis. The ligand and Zn(II) complex exhibits solid-state photoluminescence at room temperature.  相似文献

7,8,9,10-Tetrahydropyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines were obtained by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions of their corresponding N-ylides with olefinic (acrylonitrile) and symmetrical or non-symmetrical acetylenic dipolarophiles (methyl/ethyl propiolate, dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate). Also, stable 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroisoquinolinium dicyanomethylide was isolated and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Abstract

Pomegranate peel extracts (PPE) were tested for the first time on BME-UV1, a valid cellular model to study the bovine mammary epithelial metabolism, to evaluate the effects on the oxidative stress and inflammatory status. Based on the statistical analysis of MTT data, PPE at 0.1, 1.0 and 10?μg/mL resulted not cytotoxic after 24?h, 48?h and 7 days of treatment. At the same concentrations, PPE induced a reduction of ROS production elicited by the addition of hydrogen peroxide or lipopolysaccharide evidencing an antioxidant effect confirmed also by a decrease of malondialdehyde. At 10?μg/mL, PPE reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines expressions showing an anti-inflammatory effect on BME-UV1 treated with lipopolysaccharide. Although in vivo experiments are necessary, the results of this study are promising for future applications of PPE as feed supplement for dairy cattle, in particular around calving, when the animals are more subject to oxidative stress and inflammatory diseases.  相似文献

ZnAl hydrotalcites containing increasing amounts of 9-anthracenecarboxylate anion (9AC) have been obtained via an anion-exchange procedure. In particular, intercalated and/or surface-exchanged samples were prepared to study the effect of the chromophore packing on their photophysical and photochemical behavior. Surface-exchanged samples were obtained by equilibrating the carbonate form of the ZnAl hydrotalcite with dilute solutions of 9AC. The nitrate form of the ZnAl hydrotalcite was instead chosen for the preparation of intercalation compounds. The maximum loading of 9AC was found to be 44% of the anion-exchange capacity. The obtained nanostructured materials were characterized by chemical and thermal analysis and X-ray powder diffractometry and studied for their photophysical and photochemical properties. The absorption and emission spectra of the materials revealed the formation of 9AC aggregates. The time-resolved fluorescence properties of the hybrid materials were investigated in bulk and under space-resolved conditions. The fluorescence decays appeared to be quite complex and were affected by the microenvironment and the experimental conditions. Generally, a shortening of the main fluorescence decay component was observed with increasing matrix loading, thus suggesting the occurrence of nonradiative processes in competition with fluorescence at high chromophore concentrations. Indeed, the occurrence of an electron-transfer process to water molecules, which led to the formation of 9AC radical, was observed spectrophotometrically in the sample with high 9AC loading. The electron-transfer process was completely reversible under air-equilibrated conditions.  相似文献
